yeah. this is stupid. these are animals. let them go out into the sun and graze. let them get exercise. give them some space. shit. this is disgusting. a minor step up from traditional factory farming but still factory farming.

I know many people vegetarian whom are considering a vegan lifestyle for health and animal welfare concerns, actually health is significant due to all the health studies indicating dairy is not healthy for human consumption ie. linked to bone fractures Harvard Nurses Study and does not prevent osteoporosis, but is part of the cause. But if you treat your cows better by letting them wander around outside, and don't take away their babies ie. rotate feeding the babies and milking you would not lose as many people to the growing dedication to a vegan lifestyle albeit for health reasons people are switching too. Many elite athletes are vegan as they perform better.

GRASS FED COWS IS A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, BUT PLEASE LET YOUR COWS OUTSIDE. I KNOW FARMING IS NOT EASY AND MY COMPLEMENTS TO YOU, BUT YOUR PRODUCT WILL BE IN EVEN HIGHER DEMAND, IF YOU LET YOUR COWS OUT INTO THE FRESH AIR TO GRAZE.

Its better than non-grassfed cows... but that is the only thing better than the regular CAFOs... This is still a Confined Animal Feeding Operation! Look at the many videos of cows skipping for joy when they are released in the fields for the first time in spring! Free range is the only humane way!--- and the better for us. They don't get to be in a natural environment ever in their lives... still abusive!
