The Bever IIIA system is a professional decentralized wastewater treatment system. This system can be used in a wide range of situations including private, agricultural, recreational and industrial applications such as at restaurants, dairy-farms up to pre-treatment for industries. The Bever IIIA can be insulated to cope with extreme local situations. This patented wastewater treatment system (patent number: 1019162) can be used in situations varying from 22 up to 500 p.e. (pollution equivalent) which is the average pollution of one person per day. This is approximately 135 litre domestic wastewater per day. In order to process the wastewater in proper doses, a buffer pump sump is used. This sump pumps the wastewater intermittently into the wastewater treatment tank. The secondary sludge will be discharged to an excess sludge sump. The installation is supplied with a surface aerator which creates a vertical circulation through intermittent aerating. This process makes denitrification possible. The excess growth of active sludge is automatically thickened and periodically discharged to the excess sludge sump.
