Four turbines, measuring up to 16 meters tall with 8-meter-long blades will be installed off the northern coast of Scotland between Caithness and Orkney in the initial phase of the project. “I am incredibly proud of Scotland’s role in leading the way in tackling climate change and investment in marine renewables is a hugely important part of this,” the Guardian quoted Nicola Sturgeon, the First Minister of Scotland as saying.
