Fire caused by careless disposal of smoking materials caused a 2 alarm fire that destroyed the home. The female occupant escaped the burning home with her dog but she suffered burns and had to be treated at a local hospital. The call came in around 10:30pm for the West Hartford Ave location. Heavy fire was showing from the structure on arrival. Because there are no hydrants in the area, a 2nd alarm for tankers was requested immediately. It took about 45 minutes to bring the fire under control. 9 departments assisted Uxbridge. http://www.providencefirevideos.com

4:0 Roof Venting does not suck heat out from the lower levels and this proves it. Why is smoke coming out of the windows and rake edge. All they succeeded in doing is ignite the Smoldering gasses in the attic which turned it into an inferno and weaken the roof. All you have to do is cut a hole in the top floor ceiling and insert a nozzle with a 35% cone and wave it around to coat all surfaces with water.

Great job with the tanker shuttle. Living in an area where there is no hydrants it can be very tough fighting fires. I do have to chuckle a little at the guy in the beginning. He's like where my water pressure? Then oh there it is ! Lol, still great job!

Not to sound ignorant, but isn't that overkill with the water tanks on the ground when you have all those trucks? Or is it that there was no hydrant near, but that's code to have a house within certain distance of a hydrant?! Sorry, not a fireman, just asking a question.

There's some strange phenomenon going on with all these fire videos I watch.... All these fires seem to occur when there's snow on the ground... Something is up with this !!!

Seems to me that they accomplished a lot of work with just those few, small diameter, hose lines.
