Chasing Winamac and Southern Railroad thru Camden, IN on its way to Logansport. the train was probably slowed down a little bit climbing this hill, but it appeared to be highballing at 35 to 40 mph over the flat farm lands. I didnt have to wait long at each location for them to catch up. It doesn't appear the grain elevator in Camden recieves a rail traffic unfortunately.

Oh. I've heard that NS runs trains from time to time on that line, or was the info false?????

No sir, it was originally PRR, then Conrail, I think it is currently owned by some big grain company , maybe Kokomo Grain. US Rail is just the contract switching service for the line. Railamerica had been the operator of the line but their 20 year lease expired and then US Rail got it instead.

And I thought Norfolk Southern used that line.
