The only reason why people become offended with women breastfeeding in public, is because its a fat reminder to them that breasts are made for babies, not for mens sexual fantasies
-
Is it bad that I keep watching this over and over?
-
If it makes everyone in the room or area uncomfortable then we can't just let them stay there just for the convenience of one person
-
I don't see the big deal here. Like what do you want.. a screaming baby who is hungry but can't get food because the mother is shamed for breastfeeding in public? No one wants that so just look away and mind your own business simple as that :)
-
america would be better without anti sexism or anti racism really makes the world rote
-
oh I masturbate in public
-
It's a shame that people feel scared and judged to feed their child, what has the world come to?
-
reads comments expecting people to be shaming breast feeding
is pleasantly surprised by all the people defending it -
If you can breastfeed in public, I can jerk off in public. Kids learn them as private parts for a reason.
-
Well, you have to understand that breastfeeding in public makes many others uncomfortable too. While you have to feed your child, you shouldn't inconvenience others
-
I can understand why people don't breastfeed because it is a lot of work, not because of societal pressure but because you can't just leave the child with another adult without needing to pump or use an alternative method. I don't mind when I see someone breastfeeding in public and if anything I was glad for them. I'm not sure if that makes much sense but basically I think you should be able to choose what you want to do without feeling bad or guilty about it.
-
I just dont get why women dont try to cover it up when there is Public, sometimes I see people who show it to the world
-
I would just stare at them, why should I turn my head
-
Islam is the fastest growing religion in North America & Europe, and rest of the world. Enjoy breastfeeding in public while you can ladies.
-
I personally do not believe someone should breast feed in public without a cover up nothing against anyone or anything just in my opinion I don't believe it's a natural thing to do in public.
-
people are only okay with breasts exposed if its in a sexual way that caters to straight men. but if they're naturally feeding their child then apparently it's disgusting and inappropriate!
-
"if i pulled out cheerios no one would say anything" thats because pulling out cheerios does not include public nudity

This whole breastfeeding in public argument is absolutely ridiculous.
This has nothing to do with women being made to feel ashamed of their body.
Let's talk about pooping. Its also a natural thing, and is vital to human survival. Would it be right for me to drop my gear in a restaurant, and take a poop in plain site while other people are trying to eat?
Would it be reasonable for people to say "hey... I'm trying to eat, can you go take a poop in the men's washroom instead?"
Then how ridiculous would it be for me to go on the news and create a big uproar for being asked to poop in a washroom, and say that people are trying to make me feel ashamed about a my body because I'm trying to do a bowl movement in public?
I have 2 kids, and when they were infants and breastfeeding, and we were at a restaurant, my wife would put a cover over her chest and the baby under it, and you wouldn't even see or know what was going on, and she did it discreetly. We never had one person complain or stare, because no one on the planet has an issue with breastfeeding. People just don't want to see a woman pull out her stuff in the middle of a restaurant, while they're trying to eat.
It has nothing to do with being ashamed of your body. Its called being polite, and thoughtful of other people around you who may not want to see your engrossed veiny breast while they're eating. -
Oh look. People trying to make themselves victims. It is not body shaming. Don't try to argue it. It's just not, okay Buzzfeed! You guys can go around getting offended for stupid reason and be uncomfortable and triggered for stupid reasons, but when people do it to you guys, it's an issue. No, that's not how life works. Stay in Retardville.

I think that it's nudity no matter what. Equality is for 2016. I think it's OK to do it in public as long as you cover with something light because by accident you might expose your whole breast.
