More at thefarmerslife.com! 2015 has been a pretty wet year. A slightly delayed start to planting due to wet weather, and we've had regular rains since. That's usually good when we get a few tenths or an inch of rain every week or two, but this time soils haven't been able to dry out between rains for very long if at all. All the moisture is taking a toll on our crops.

in benton county indiana we r lucky cuz we got no rivers and we have alot of good crops but if u go other places some people didnt get corn nor beans planted. our corn on corn fields look like crap cuz water damage and the fact that they r corn on corn.

I wish we could have some of your rain, dry here in Aus.

Oddly reminds me of the drought of 2012; though crop health in a drought is like the film negative to a overly wet year's positive in any field. Here's hoping the weather hits a sweet spot for at least a couple of years after this.

Wow, that's a lot of water. I hope it dries up some. Janice
