Jonathan set the nets to catch the whitebait while Carrie interviewed Dougal about how to cook them. We only waited about 5 minutes as Dougal was minding the nets, so we didn't see any whitebait in the water. add eggs to the whitebait and mix well add salt n pepper to taste then use soup spoon size to spoon in to a hot pan with melted butter in it. cook until they start to go white then flip fo a further 1min max, dont over cook them, take out and put into fresh bread as a sammmy and sqeeze a little lemon over if you desire. VOILA

@1980MRKIMBO "Flag the flour" means don't use the flour or... ? and "spoon fulls" of what? Sorry... didn't get all of that, but super curious now.

flag the flour 1LB of whitebait + 2eggs and spoon fulls into a hot pan with butter, eat with real fresh bread yummo
