That is awesome!!!

Any thoughts on vermicomposting or using worm cast offs for a home garden?

Interesting approach, Dynamic accumulators are also good to consider.Very good food for thoughts (intended) But again, in the vegan thinking you failed to consider we are a part of a cycle a big one as it is,that has equilibrium. We are currently messing with it but the balance will eventually,it always find its way. Hypothetically, agro industry is eliminated for smaller short circuit farming-
which as a side note a lot of vegans fail to realise that a lot of their vegan oriented purchases have astonishing food miles and feed brutal injustices in the global south-what would we do with animals, they need to be fed and their population managed. Ultimately they were all at a "savage" state in evolution but it could be challenging to reintroduce them into the wild to say the least. Good videon, keep up and let the best. -
Another rad video by this guy. So glad to have found this channel - 10 out of 10 Mic 👌🏻

thanks for the info. never thought of farming as not vegan. lots to think about
-
your videos are chock-full of information, well done.

Hey! Thanks for the video, true and informative. In a discussion with non-vegan friends, the following argument was presented: "There ar many areas on Earth that have nothing but pasture. It is simply not possible have anything else there because of the cold climate. How about that?" My question to you, Mic, is - what would be the best way to adress such an argument?

Plowing? No no no! Chop and drop, baby! Plowing is awful for the soil, it disturbs the soil ecosystem, leads to soil compaction and top soil loss/erosion.

We have been growing veganically for over two years now. Our dragon fruit is much sweeter with plant based compost. All of our other crops does well too. We believe it is the most sustainable and produce the most mineral rich products. You can check out back to eden garden method with wood chips as to why plant based compost is the best fertilizers.

what a surprise....the vegan version is better.

Really loved this video! Thank you for posting!

I'm veganic and didn't know it....lol

Where do you get your nitrogen?
-
I am trying to start my own vegetable garden and so far have not been able to find anything that's vegan :(

Thank you for making this video, I was stumped on how we would grow food without manure fertilizer but this really cleared up all my questions! :D

I have a die hard ethical omnivorian ketosis friend who is constantly turning vegans or vegan-curious folk to omnivorianism. He uses the field animals being killed to say his way is more ethical than veganism because supposedly virtually none are killed with pasture fed meat. He also uses the argument that pasture raised is better for the environment because it brings life back to dead zones. And finally, he uses the ketogenic diet to say it is better for your health. I was actually considering ethical omnivorianism after talking with him but it because of animal and environmental welfare but it still didn't feel right. Low and behold within just like 30 minutes of digging deeper I found out his claims do not hold up. You are amazing at presenting info, that would be rad if you did a video on any of those arguments because SOOO many vegan curious people are held back from ethical omnivorians who actually sound compelling in their anti-veg arguments as opposed to the typical anti-veggie

As a former raw foods vegan for 11 years (1976-1987) I developed serious health issues (IBS, insulin resistance, heart issues, chronic fatigue and others). I now prefer to base my diet on nutrition and health rather than a nebulous philosophy. Everyone is different and some folks just do not do well on a vegan diet - power to those who can. I would also question the wisdom of exchanging the lives of animals for destroying the entire planet by using finite fossil fuels to run gargantuan farm equipment and send us to hell in a hand basket due to global warming - all to grow grain crops which are the primary culprit behind today's diabetic epidemic. Not to mention all the CO2 that gets released from the soil by the "veganculture" tillage systems shown in this video.
