Their milk, eggs and kefir are so fresh you cannot believe it. The eggs do last a couple of weeks and like they tell you on their website: the egg yolks are a golden yellow, sunflower, brilliant color you've never seen at any store, not even Whole Foods. The raw milk is also better than the stuff they have at Whole Foods in glass -- the purity and taste is heaven. The sausage with cheddar is a favorite -- the intestines are on the sausage so you get the health benefits but the taste is so good you can't understand how grocery stores make their brats and sausages so bad.

There is so much variety it's hard to imagine ever losing interest. If you are a fan of the Weston A Price Foundation they fit your needs for grassfed meet and raw, fresher than fresh milks as well. Great for babies, kids and adults. I love what they're doing. I'm shocked they're new to this because there is nobody out there farming with greater skill. Like they say, this is chef worthy food, but easy for novice home cooks.

I just posted the following on my facebook page for my 1235 friends: Last chance before Christmas to order farm products from Tennessee's own WESTWIND FARMS. I came across this Tennessee gem in my old neighborhood, at Historic East Nashville's Farmer's Market, behind the Turnip Truck on Woodland St. . It is a wonderful alternative to the downtown Farmer's Market, below the Capital. Offersdiverse choices of meat, dairy, vegetables teas, and handmade crafts in a festive marketplace setting.

I love West Wind Farms. My wife and I have been buying meat, bacon and butter from them for about 10 years now, and I'm so proud of how they have grown to be more efficient, but still remain "our" friends and farmers. God bless them.
