Joe's Farm Grill has been featured several times on the Food Network, and was the topic of an episode of "Diners, Drive-In's and Dives" with Guy Fieri. Located in Gilbert, AZ, Agritopia is a farming community that has been thriving since 1900 after being transformed from desert to ariable land by settlers. Almost all of the ingredients served at Joe's are grown on the premises, and meats are obtained from local sources, free of any chemicals, preservatives or additives. The Johnston Family has owned the land for over 40 years, and currently run the restaurant as well as the day to day operations that come with maintaining crops. Agritopia consists of over 15 acres of urban farmland, which include specialty greens, heirloom tomatoes, and fresh herbs. This implies a mosaic of diverse crops, rather than a standard crop. Orange blossom trees produce oranges year-round. If you're ever in the Valley, and want to try something different, I highly recommend Joe's Farm Grill. Be forewarned, however, as the lines are usually long during business hours every single day.
