The UDairy Creamery produces premium ice cream made with the milk from the cows on the farm at the University of Delaware College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Founded on science, sustainability and entrepreneurship, the Creamery encourages discovery learning, with University students involved in every aspect of making and selling ice cream "from the cow to the cone." The Webb Farm, located off of Route 72 in Newark, houses facilities for the college’s registered Angus cattle herd, Dorset sheep flock and horse herd; and includes a lambing barn, livestock arena and the new equine facility. The Botanic Gardens are a series of 12 gardens on 15 acres used by faculty, students, Green Industry professionals and the public, serving a primary role in supporting the CANR programs in horticulture, plant science, entomology, and landscape design.
