Set just off the SS146, arguably Tuscanys prettiest roadway Villa Ava is surrounded by delightful hill towns such as Montepulciano, Pienza and Torrita di Siena. From this wonderfully accessible position, much of Tuscany and Umbria may be explored. In approaching the villa, elegant rows of vineyards and stately olive trees gently lead to a level expanse of grounds and manicured gardens surrounding the home. From this vantaged position, the villa, its grounds and the pool lord over 1200 acres of private vineyards, orchards, fields and woods. In the distance, solitary stone farmhouses rising from a sea of green complete the picture-perfect setting. The main villa comes with a cottage, just a few feet away containing a small bedroom and an attached furnished portico. There is plenty more outdoor seating on the lawn and by the pool for al fresco dining. Inside, this classic Tuscan villa is beautifully restored. Brick laden archways, heavily hewn beams and terracotta floors form a soothing backdrop to a comfortable array of contemporary furnishings accented by antiques.
