The world’s largest robotic installation under one roof is now in operation on a South Canterbury dairy farm in New Zealand, with 24 DeLaval Voluntary Milking System (VMS) robots. The 1500-cow barn, owned by the van Leeuwen family, went from milking zero to 725 cows in just seven days. It is hoped the barn will be running at full capacity by Christmas.
