Farms: UN Climate Change Treaty: Obama: Cap and Trade: The Destruction of the Unites States

This short video is a short retelling of an excellent Russian article in Pravda called The American Self Immolation, Truly a Sight to See. It is amazing that we are now quoting Russia! This author really sees things the way they are. WAKE UP FOLKS! YOUR KIDS ARE BEING BRAINWASHED! As my readers know, I am a fan of economics and of history, as well as politics, a combination that forms some very interesting cycles to research, discuss and argue on. None is so interesting than the death of great nations, for here there is always the self destruction that comes before the final breakups and invasions. As they say: Rome did not fall to the barbarians, all they did was kick in the rotting gates. It can be safely said, that the last time a great nation destroyed itself through its own hubris and economic folly was the early Soviet Union (though in the end the late Soviet Union still died by the economic hand). Now we get the opportunity to watch the Americans do the exact same thing to themselves. The most amazing thing of course, is that they are just repeating the failed mistakes of the past. One would expect their fellow travelers in suicide, the British, to have spoken up by now, but unfortunately for the British, their education system is now even more of a joke than that of the Americans. While taking a small breather from mouthing the never ending propaganda of recovery, never mind that every real indicator is pointing to death and destruction, the American Marxists have noticed that the French and Germans are out of recession and that Russia and Italy are heading out at a good clip themselves. Of course these facts have been wrapped up into their mind boggling non stop chant of "recovery" and hope-change-zombification. What is ignored, of course, is that we and the other three great nations all cut our taxes, cut our spending, made life easy for small business...in other words: the exact opposite of the Anglo-Sphere. That brings us to Cap and Trade. Never in the history of humanity has a more idiotic plan been put forward and sold with bigger lies. Energy is the key stone to any and every economy, be it man power, animal power, wood or coal or nuclear. How else does one power industry that makes human life better (unless of course its making the bombs that end that human life, but that's a different topic). Never in history, with the exception of the Japanese self imposed isolation in the 1600s, did a government actively force its people away from economic activity and industry. Even the Soviets never created such idiocy. The great famine of the late 1920s was caused by quite the opposite, as the Soviets collectivized farms to force peasants off of their land and into the big new factories. Of course this had disastrous results. So one must ask, are the powers that be in Washington and London degenerates or satanically evil? Where is the opposition? Where are the Republicans in America and Tories in England? The unfortunate truth here is: the Republicans and Tories are the Mensheviks to the Democrat and Labour Bolsheviks. In other words, they are the slightly less radical fellow travellers who are to stupid to realize that once their usefulness is done, they will go the very camps they will help send the true opposition to. A more deserving lot was rarely born. Of course half of the useful idiots in the Bolshevik groupings will go to those very same camps. http://newsfromrussia.com/opinion/col... Category: Education

get rid of foreign lobby bodies, and you're politics would be for Americans, and Americans, ordinary people know good things, and it would seem they can put others' considerations squarely at their feet, or indeed, before their own - that the effect would be beneficial, around the world, as an honest body political, representing American people and not some foreign interest, with money to dump into advertising, that would meddle with US domestics as well as its international reputation.
-
Obama, Obama, Obama, when are you going to see that it matters not who is in power? Seriously, you heap it all on one guy in a way, when it fact American presidencies have been sporadically owned up until JFK and totally owned since.
-
haha, instead of real solutions to a problem that is fictional, as the least damning description, what "climate change" (once known as "global warming") what climate change is is skewered science designed to support a numb-headed approach of impoverishing people, instead of applying a solution, if it were a problem. It would almost seem that what is going on in our atmosphere, each day, is designed to reinforce this ridiculous view, as observed change, and letting the uneducated connect the dots
-
How's that "Hope, and change" working out for ya.
-
@jbranstetter04 i am unfamiliar with WA state primary, i'll check out. btw, i'm not a republican nor a tea partier. though i do have some of the same views as each of those parties
-
@classicallyliberal I know all the quotes from the founders; I knew them way before there was even a thought of a tea party. No disrespect to you, as you may have known them as well. I know all that you talk about. Do you know of the "new" primary system in Washington State? It is a truly open primary. You put by your name whatever political party that you favor whether or not that party even supports you. The two top vote getters go to the fall election. It was upheld buy the US Supreme Court.
-
@jbranstetter04 Thomas Jefferson said it best, " when the people fear the gov't there is tyranny, when the gov't fears the people there is liberty". When obama was elected, the first thing people did that opposed him, was to buy guns. that was fear, they feared he was going to take away gun ow nership. more recently he has spoke of cracking down on guns. 2 people started hiding their money in off shore accounts and hedge funds overseas. that is fear as well. both fears have now been justified
-
@jbranstetter04 im referring to pulling them back ourselves too. problem 1 i see with your approach is the two party system has failed! miserably! we should have more parties in the legislature. problem two is the democrats and republicans are trying to take that away. ie, passing of prop 14 in cali, which among other things make all political parties increase votes for their party or increase membership by a certain percentage every year. not a problem for the DNC or GOP,but for the little guys
-
@classicallyliberal I'm referring to pulling them back ourselves, by way of elections. Are you still allowed to vote? I am, and I think that the vast majority of Americans are still allowed to vote; it is our right. And until that right is taken away from us, then that is the only thing that we should use against the government. It is our government, they do what we want. Yes, even today they are doing what we want. If they were not, then we would have voted them out by now.
-
@jbranstetter04 i'm saving my direct approach for the "or else". tar and feather, gallows, etc.
-
@classicallyliberal I agree with you there; I take the more direct approach. First I would go after his statement of how virtually every first world country is phasing out IL bulbs. They are also "phasing out" private ownership of firearms. We are not other first world nations, we are America; we have rights. We first believe in the free market and the ability of the people to decide what is right for themselves and for the country at large. Our government needs to pull back, or else.

@lnwmmr if i have to choose who to trust between corporate america or gov't i choose corporate america. at least they have a vested interest to produce a good and safe product to continue to profit and avoid lawsuits. as for naders unsafe at any speed...nader is completely full of shit.
-
@lnwmmr your argument is false, as if the government or its politicians haven't committed any wrong doing. patriot act, multiple wars, prohibition...more specific was the deliberate poisoning of alcohol, that killed people during prohibition, the passing of the 16th amendment, which i believe as well as many other, and their is evidence to support that 16th amendment was never properly ratified, the list can go on and on.
-
@RockTheFacts um okay, regular fluorescent bulbs have contained mercury since they hit the market decades ago, and they were linked to cataract. they are probably the most widely used bulb today and no lawsuits. just saying.
-
@jbranstetter04 right on man. if they want my guns or anymore of my money, they will have to pry them as well from my dead hands to.
-
@lnwmmr you see i love when dumb people ask dumb questions. you don't understand cause and effect. well let me tell you about it, IT'S EVERYWHERE AND IT EFFECTS EVERYTHING! First of all, who ever said it had to be the federal gov't that has to oversee this, and who ever said it had to be gov't at all. How long would an airline be in business with dangerous record? Or how long do you think that "unregulated farm" would last if it sold tainted meat. THEY WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS! FAST!
-
but if we keep producing, the biproduct that is fossil fuels could cause increased global warming and we could all die. Then producing could spell our own doom! look at all the facts before you voice your opinions.
-
I say the politicians are evil. Controlling people is evil and thats what they are in the business of doing. They are not working for us the People, as they should be.
-
@lnwmmr "..fly on an airline that has no regulation oversight...eat meat from an unregulated farm?" My answer is yes to both questions. The fact is that for thousands of years people ate from farmers and rode horses and and wagons unregulated. But of course, yes I see, that was then, this is now. And as far as the light bulb ban, it was unprecedented. Banning a legal item based on a theory. I have stocked up on them, and they will have to pry them from my cold dead hands to take them from me!
-
I think what you should say is a sensible government has never forced its people to stop producing. Communist governments have done this in the past. Cambodia 1972 Pol Pot khmer rouge.
