Original title: Wiatrowy biznes There are frequent controversies relating to the construction of wind farms in Poland. With the ever growing numer of the wind turbine establishments, there are cases of lack of clarity about the process of setting up these installations. The local governments are looked at with suspicion as they are dealing with the wind farm investors, who are striving to carry out their plans at all cost. Accusations of corruption arise, related to the persons employed in the local government offices. The issue has recently been subject to scrutiny held by Polish audit and counter-corruption organisations.
