@WCSLdglas Oh and you shouldn't be so quick to hate cities... Cities are the fruition of your youtube, your computer, your car, your cell phone, your clothes, your razor, your almost everything. If it weren't for cities, we would be living a rather primitive life... Cities are what sparked the industrial revolution... not the best thing for the environment but for life in general it was.

No cities are not the best things in the world but they provide more jobs to more people than the countryside will ever offer. HOWEVER, if people are attempting to make cities LESS unsustainable then urban farming is a HUGE step in the right direction. Transportation of food and the current methods of agriculture are what's unsustainable. Upon reading my post, I don't really think I insulted you but to each their own. So sorry if you took it as an insult, rather I was blown away.

@WCSLdglas WHAT??? Are you out of your mind??? Your comment was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Not sustainable... ha. To Natural Urban Farming, YOU ROCK! Such an inspiration to people like myself... I want to teach in an inner city school in Oakland and THIS is exactly what I want to do at the school... "Bringing people closer to nature and connecting them with the land..." YES!!!
