And speaking about that antler size you will never see free range 1 year old deer starting out as a 10 point. Ive seen mature shooter bucks that were basket racks making them illegal they take years to gain that size
-
They need to take some of these does and bucks and stock the national forests. I spend weeks out in sam houston and davy Crockett national forests only to see a few does and an illegal buck
-
Fenced in hunting is a joke...free range only..the real way hunting is intended..
-
What a load of Bullshit......he shows Big Stitch's antlers as a 1 yr old then as a 2 yr old and both sets have no drop tines. Then all of a sudden as a 3 yr old his rack has now got double drop tines. That is next to impossible to develop that many more tines and become a non-typical in the course of 1 single season. Blow smoke up somebody else's backside, I don't buy it.
However you sure develop some incredible animals, good genetics. -
it must be a lot of money that there making
-
All I have to say is we dont have one year olds like that on public land in florida. Lol
-
Ok, "big stitch" is never gonna be a one year old 10 point in the actual woods so you wouldn't have the opportunity to harvest a large one year old 10-pt
-
how much do all the different ages cost?
-
How much does one of those breeder bucks run?
-
What do you mean by "improve the genetics"?
-
Horror..............

I love being on this ranch. Plenty of big deer.

Great work there. And you are correct, not many people would have passed up a buck with a spread like that 1 year old you have. Actually, it would be considered a freak of nature if you were to see that kind of a spread on a 1 years old out in the wild who wasn't fed a superb diet like you have there. But with work like you guys are doing, that could be a reality very soon. Congratulations and keep up the awesome work.

now if only I could find deer like this in the wild.......
