Someone should set up farm tours for the tourists. They can get to see how real Jamaicans farmers live and where their food comes from at the resorts. They can get away from the beach and visit the countryside. The farmers could get a fee/payment from the tour companies and maybe sell some of their product as well. Bless up Jamaica, land I love.

cassava have 67 variety and 3 sub species. Bitter cassava is poisonous, you have to extract all moisture before eaten, and it is huge, can grow fat as a human leg. And the regular not bitter cassava leaves is used just like how you may cook spinach, callaloo, coco, or dasheen leaves . In Guyana they also use cassava to make pone. bread and many others dishes , And the extract is use to make cassareep a thick dark sauce for cooking. Cassava was brought to Jamaica by the Arawak people from Guyana, Venezuela .
