Derek "Deek" Diedricksen, and his brother Dustin tour/interview the Runaway Shanty (www.runawayshanty.com) and its owners Luise and Sean, in CT. Deek and Dustin were hosting their hands-on tiny house building workshop in Putnam, CT, where they built a tiny art shelter/tiny house for The Empty Spaces Project Gallery on Main Street. In this tour, we see the dried-in interior of this tiny house, its newly installed Kimberly Stove, its TRIPLE paned windows, and its loft- one made more spacious by the house's implementation of a GAMBREL roof.

Beautifull.

Using standard home framing for a tiny trailer home is bizarre. Trailer homes need to save every pound of weight. Good engineering is reflected in simplicity.
-
To toss it out or to keep it in place I'll say it gets tossed out it doesn't save space and a cheap mini split will work much better ..

triple pain but only 2x4 construction? in Alaska we use 2x6 walls cause they stay warmer..we would do that before we would go with triple pain windows..most houses here have double pain windows but 2x6 construction unless it was built pre 90s.

Do you not use these highly impractical windows and cannot control how open and close they are and you have a very jagged right angle object hoarding up the inner living space you inhabit and I promise you it's waiting to stab you in the head with the sharp corner , wait for A windy day to get smacked by it
Think about how sliding windows are the equivalent to the pocket door and that these are the opposite
You can't open the window " just a half inch " either it's either open or closed -
That looks the most spacious of all

Start at 1:25 to skip the ego stroking.

thats a fucking tall ass man, or those are some short ass girls.
-
try taking a 3 ft by 3 and 1/2 foot space out of one side and make a true second floor out of your space, like the spit level designs shown on the internet, at least think about it

Love the windows & stove heater! Can't wait to complete!!
-
Still, if you are serious about making videos, use speech that is understandable and professional.

Would love to see this final home. It is one of my favorites because it is so roomy and has windows as part of the ceiling. This way you can see the stars when lying in the loft. I would love to have that one day.

what kind of stove is that? I couldn't make it out?

My one comment, not a criticism, when you all talk do it so a viewer can understand what you are saying. If you talk in conversational speech it comes out as mush and a lot of words cannot be understood. Yes I have a slight hearing loss but with some folks who talk on these videos all I hear is slurred speech. Nice house and some really cool ideas. I just wish I could hear all of it.

That is the first tiny house that I have ever seen with a gambrel roof design and I like it.
-
How tall is the house?
-
if i farted in there, would it linger?
-

doesn't seem like your are trying to cash in at all...
