More spring tillage with the John Deere 8235R! We use a Case IH 9 shank chisel plow. Compaction on this particular soil type requires that the bean ground be tilled as well. Great video!!!!!!

great videos but why such a big tractor on a baby chisel plow? I pulled chisel like that growing up with a 4640 two wheel drive lol. That's ~160hp at the engine(max) vs 235hp normal(260hp max) with 8 tires driving. Surely for the sake of JD not being called a wimp you have upgraded lol yes you are going pretty fast but 235hp is way more than needed even with hills
-
I come help do that
-
always good footage, wish i could come work for you, love tractor driving
-
Im surprised you guys were using a Case chisel when green is in your blood.
-
That seams like such a small chisel plow behind that tractor, you guys should upgrade like you did with the planter?
-
in german looks like the JohnDeere's better. check out my channal than you see germany
-
Why are you using the 8235r and not the 4440
-
Just found your guy's channel. I love the footage and it make me miss farming. I'm currently deployed, but I will definitely do some farming when I get back.
-
well I have found out one thing the people who move from Wisconsin to Tennessee it how similar the land profiles are that interesting.
-
How deep are you chiseling? Are you doing any other soil prep before planting after?
-
why call it a chisel and not a cultivator
-
Have ya ever considered no-till? Its hard to get started in and requires more management, but it can pay off. We've been no-tilling for over 30 years
-
Hey I live in Wisconsin too!
-
nice videos...I think you guys need to give that beast a challenge it looks like its plays with that case ih
-
how come ur leaving it in strips
-
Looks like a little toy behind that 82 lol. We pull the same chisel plow with our 2wd MX200. We don't believe in front wheel assist on my farm!
-
why so many strips of grass
-
Looks like you could pull that with a craftsman lawn mower.
-
how long did it take yall to do all that ground with that chisel disk????
