Galloway 7HP engine (circa 1912) running a Peerless thresher made by Trenton Agricultural works, Trenton, NJ in the late 19th century. Led by Howell Farm staff, a volunteer crew demonstrated this operation at the 2009 Mercer County (NJ) 4-H fair. The apparent slow motion of the engine is an artifact of the video. In fact it is turning in the opposite direction of what you see. Actual RPM is about 300. For more information on Howell Farm see www.howellfarm.com
