The download has a family to go along with it but you can evict them and move your Sims in if you like. There are 4 Sims (Mom, Dad, and boy and girl twin children), 5 horses, and 1 dog (plus an assortment of small pets such as birds, fish, turtles and snakes). This estate features 2 free standing buildings, one of which is an 8 stable horse ranch (only 7 are usable). There are 3 stories and 2 mini apartments. Total of 8 Bedrooms and 6 Bathrooms. Separate back yard with a hot tub, fire pit, barbecue area and bobbing for apples! 50x50 Lot $331,436. it is a really cool ranch !!
the only thing I could say, as a horse person is that you're missing a tack room to put your saddles and bridles when you're not using it. Other than that : awesome !! -

ranch is like for animals so like a horse ranch a cattle ranch and more so you were right about the farm but they can have animals too
