But thanks to Sikh migrants, some traditional dairies have preserved a small slice of Italian culture. There are nearly 16,000 Indian migrants employed on Italian farms, mainly in the country's North. Many, like Jaspinder's father, arrived in search of employment familiar to their roots. "My dad is from an agriculture tradition, so when he came here he didn't find that big difference between Punjab and Italy." As the Sikhs attempt to keep their culture and traditions strong in their new home, they are also helping to preserve a piece of Italy's culture - the art of making parmesan cheese. This report explores these two cultures whose similarities and differences merge for the betterment of each other. Sikhs are awesome, period. These people are a asset to any country.

Sikh's are the kindest, most loving and accommodating people. They believe in a strong work ethic and are honest to the core. I am from India, I am a Hindu. My grandmother who grew up in Delhi always used to say, Trust a Man in the Turban. These people are simply amazing, unlike the radical immigrants we hear about everyday in Europe and US who are killing and spreading hate, Sikhs are actually the exact opposite. Also they are brave, loyal and very patriotic. Sikhs are just 2% of India's of the population but 20% of Indian Military consists of Sikhs. Salute to you people and Respect.

thank you Sikhs for your contribution

I've only known American Sikh but they are the same as these in Italy. Generous, honorable, hard working people.

Those are not Muslims. Muslims are a religion not a race or a culture. Those people in Italy are South Asian like Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshi...And they are from South Asia such as India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh...And there religion is Sikh not Islam.

The Sikh community is hard-working and honest. Wherever they go they bring prosperity. Some comments below mention what happened in 1984. I think it is obvious that it was politically motivated. The Congress party ruled over India (you can't call it governance) by using the British divide and rule concept for half a century.
The Sikhs were the ones who lost the most due to the partition of 1947. -
