I forgot to mention, that it helps to build the hoppers on chunk borders. links to some recent bug reports: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-79154 https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-78155 IMPORTANT NOTES: 9/2/16 chunk loading improved in 1.9 and doesn't create enough stress anymore. You need to create lag spikes with a different method. Also some servers change the way hoppers work, duplication might not occur on them. Also servers with constantly decreased TPS aren't suitable for this method. Two things: First, does anyone know if this still works in 1.11? Second, if it does, has anyone tried duping a shulker box full of items?

this DOES still work in 1.10.2. what's needed is to put glowstone on top of at least 16 sticky pistons and power them with a 1 tick clock from a single comparator. turn on the lag machine and jump in the minecart like in the tutorial. had some difficulty with duping non stackable items like armour. for that just face two hoppers into each other with no other redstone. works very well :)
