If you need helping staying vegan or want to become vegan and live in the Mineola, Garden City, Westbury area of Long Island, NY then the Summer farmers market taking place every Tuesday from 7am to 1pm (101 county seat dr, garden city, ny) The nice farmers at Terry's Farm had lots of fresh, organic and in season vegetables for sale today! Vegetables included: sugar snap peas, Kirby, zucchini, red and white scallions, fresh potato, cabbage, sweet carrots, white carrots, Swiss chard, red and green kale, arugula, beets, candy stripe beets, gold beets and radishes Terry Farm's also visits other farmers markets in Rosyln North Hills, Lynnbrook, Isplip, Seaford, Huntington Village and Rockville Centre. Terry's Farm offers organic, fresh and seasonal vegetables and what I found to be the same or below local supermarket prices (wow!). Staying Vegan or becoming vegan is less of challenge with Terry's Farm and StayVEGAN. http://stayvegan.com
