Just a few stones in regard to the Witmer family which came to America on the Muscliff Galley from the German Palatinate in 1755. Vocations listed as able bodied Mennonite farmers.Crossed from Philadelphia to Lancaster,Pa. then to York where they settled in the Stony Brook area. A few generations are represented by the stones here.
