You’ve inherited your grandfather’s old farm plot in Stardew Valley. Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home? It won’t be easy. Ever since Joja Corporation came to town, the old ways of life have all but disappeared. The community center, once the town’s most vibrant hub of activity, now lies in shambles. But the valley seems full of opportunity. With a little dedication, you might just be the one to restore Stardew Valley to greatness! The sleeping mechanic is basically if you get into bed before 12:00 am then you get a full nights rest. Anytime after 12:00 am you start to lose energy that will be applied to the next day, so your energy bar will not be at the maximum. The energy loss is incremental so you only lose very little energy if you hit the hay at 12:10 and I think if you go to bed at 1:50 you'll wake up with around only half your energy. If you are not in bed by 2:00 am you'll fall asleep wherever you are (Even if you are within inches of your bed) and suffer any applicable loses.
Keep at the worms. Yeah I guess it is cool digging up copper and gold, though there are some less inspiring rewards like clay, but that isn't the real reason. There is something that you can dig up that will help you figure things out better without having to resort to using the wiki or reddit. It is in game help that I think is intended by the developers for those who want to play the pure game. -
Try to upgrade you watering can ASAP so you don't have to worry about it later.
