American Girl "Elsie" is a 3 year old, TB mare. She currently stands at 16h but should mature to a solid 16.1h. Bred and trained to race, Elsie never made it to the track because she was too quiet. Since arriving at WinRose Farms, she has quickly adapted to her new career as a hunter. She went to her first show on May 5, 2013 and showed in the walk trot pleasure and hunter divisions, and she won the blue ribbon in EVERY CLASS out of 13 horses. Elsie was not fazed or distracted by all the commotion at the show including the big fire truck that pulled into the ring to water it right before one of her classes. Elsie is starting to jump small courses and is currently concentrating on grid work to improve her jumping technique. She is very brave and willing and tries her best every time we throw something new at her. Elsie has an incredible brain and is going to be very easy to finish.
