That's a beautiful little farm! How many acres? Is this something you started after retirement?

When you are picking like the guy who is picking beans in your video, they make lots of different styles of seats on wheels to roll along the rows. I'm older than him, so I prefer to sit on something. I use an old milk crate. Upside down I can sit on it, and move it along as I need to move it. When done, turn it over, put my bag, or container of pickings inside, and use the two carry handles to carry it easily back to the house. Happy gardening.

Small farming is the way to go. I just found out about a great idea for root crops like sweet potatos, or turnips, etc. Get some old tires, and place them in rows with tires stacked two high. Fill with dirt, and plant inside the tires. Then when harvest time comes, simply unstack the tires which empties the dirt, and there is your root plant. No heavy digging down into hard soil. I can't wait to try it, but it is supposed to work great. Happy Farming.
