Back to the 1700's farm site for a nice day of digging. Weather was great, batteries were fresh, animals were stinky, and the finds weren't too shabby.

It was neat seeing that marksman medal. I have that medal, which is given once you reach competency in the prone shooting position and there are additional awards for sitting, kneeling and offhand positions. They were awards given in the Junior NRA marksmanship program for .22 long rifle. I earned mine in the sixties, don't know if the program still exists or not....neat find!
