Any reason to use cutterbar and reel windrowers instead of using European style tractor mounted windrowing mower with roller conditioners?
-
Is there any way to get rid of a step in this process? Like cuting , picking up , loading the bin in one go and then send out offloaders to empty while on the move? Now you have two passes. Allright then you have to leave it in the field for a drying up step? Do ingreedients for silage need to be dried? I thought you like it to be moist?
I not farmer and I never had the steps to produce things for dairy farmers explained to me in detail. Like the exact composition of silage. What is that? 40% grass 40% fermented grass / corn, 20% straw + sweeteners .....
Or does farmers have their own secret recepie? -
