Large flocks of sheep are typically found in the Rocky Mountains, California, and Texas. But there's a small but growing number of shepherds in Michigan. Lamb prices are good, and some land in Michigan not suited for traditional crops makes for good pasture. We visit Jack and Martha Knorek who show us around their farm during the height of spring lambing season (as luck would have it, no were lambs born during our visit - one was born ten minutes before we came, and another about an hour after we left.
