The Royal Highland Education Trust, have on Feb 6th 2013 launched a new resource entitled 'Scotland's Farming Year'. This new DVD is available free to all primary schools, focuses on health & wellbeing, science and social studies. Its aim is to provide a comprehensive introduction to farming in Scotland, its role in food production and the countryside. Structured around the four seasons and taking a year to film, the resource covers topics such as Scotland's rural environment, the dynamic nature of food, farming and countryside activities.
