Nice wooly sheep. Whhy is there no mention of their wool? These sheep surely aren't good only for their milk and wool is a fantastic insulator as well as textile. I had a camel hair coat, apparently 100% or very nearly, but have also had 100% wool shirts (Pendelton and expensive today), plus a 100% wool coat. Camel hair coat was great, but not something I'd wear every day. 100% wool shirts; any day. 100% wool coat, for non-rainy days, or wear something waterproof over it. Don't bypass the wool.

He's franco Quebecer and shepard isn'tf fr. "Berger" is the translation. I don't think the guy in the interview is a sheperd, but maybe it's part of his job. Maybe. He might do a little work that's specifically related to this chore, but he seems more like a store or factory employee. If he works in the factory, then there probably is no significant amount of time to be out in the fields watching out over the herd(s). Shepherds need to be out there with the herd(s) and quite full-time, I think.
