My dad and grandparents lived in Monk Fryston at this time. Don't think they're in the film though...

Your granddad might also spot Jim Peplow, Andrew Ransome, Alf Roebuck and Hubert Amos, also Mr Gill. He may even recognize me. I have some more films but have published the most interesting. I need to transfer the remainder to digital.

I'm wondering if there's a full uncut version of this because my grandad, 85, would like to watch the rest of it. He recognises a coupleof people: John Newsome, 'Lol' Steele and Percy Lawson. My grandad is/was a farmer, his name is John Webster and he farms around Burton Salmon. It's also where he was born, bred and is still living there. As am I. I'd really like to get the full thing for him, thank you
