Eu political crap and Romanian corrupted politicians combine makes a deadly poison for romanian people ,that is my opinion .

As is typically the case, people blame the EU when it is really the national governments that fuck up. And politicians often exploit that to push unpopular policies while losing less votes. This is how the EU gets a bad rep unjustifiably for national-level incompetence.
The Romanian Governments is cash-straped, but that is no excuse. A lot of moeny gets wasted through corruption and that needs to stop. The government should help these farmers, for example by subsidizing the testing, or making more numerous smaller laboratories for testing things like cheese more common and closer. But it hardly has the money to do something like that, but that is no excuse not to try.
Another thing romanian politicians could do is to explain the situation of romanian farmers to the heads of the EU, in the Council, in the Parlament etc., to make EU common rules on agriculture take more into account the different lifestyles of the people in the more traditional eastern european countries. There should be some exceptions to the whole testing in the laboratory measure. It should be dependent on production: you make a million tones of cheese/day, you should be obligated to get laboratory testing, you make 1 piece of cheese per day, you're free to do as you see fit.
But protectionism is no solution. Not in the long term. Yes the foreign products are cheaper, but blocking imports would in time only result in more problems.
And that is in no small part due to the fact that Romanian agricultre DOES NEED TO REFORM! By its own accord or by pressure from foreign imports. That guy in Baia Mare was absolutely right, romanian farmers are stubborn. Not to mention ignorant (chemicals? Really? Pleeeeeeeeeease, I'm so tired of the culture of anti-E numbers). If other countries have cooperatives and they make more money that way and the country just overall has a better economy, then WHY should we not do it in Romania? Because of your nostalgic feelings for a more traditional lifestyle? I think macroeconomics trumps nostalgic feelings. -
Isn't europe's agriculture policy great guys?

sad but true farming is for the 1% urbanization is a massively lucrative economic driver. if the Romanian farmers hold on for another 40 years there product will be marketable when exports become more fluid they could see solid returns. after all chemically extracted oil makes your tung taste horrible, dry mouth with a sense of being lightly pickled. Cold press and nothing clean taste magic.
chemical manufactures have some work to do there produced is questionable for human consumption it certainly is not quality. after all most could do with eating less we should be getting more enjoyment out of what we do eat. enjoyment reduces stress more productivity. reduced inflammation in the body better health less liability of chronic medicalization. cheers Romania wish you could cook for me i would hire you to cook in Berlin if i could i would just design the store you provide the taste at a great price bam market winner. -
looks like a great way to live!
