August 25, 2016 We took a short road trip to Pueblo, Colorado to look at and maybe purchase a new chile being grown in the mesa to the east of Pueblo. It has been widely advertised for its taste and spiciness. The Pueblo Chile is similar to the famous Hatch, NM Chile. We arrived at the Musso Farm produce stand and spent over an hour looking at their wide variety of chilies and other produce. We decided to give it a try. We had then roast our half bushel as it removes the tough outer skin. We then brought them home, washed off the remaining skin and placed the bags in the freezer.
