Once I saw that a few of my uploads were doing well, I decided to continue with additional videos as projects came up. To me, I was just maintaining my own vehicles and making the occasional video along the way. I firmly believe that anyone can pick up a wrench and fix a piece of junk, thus the phrase "Get Some Junk Done" took on a life of its own for me over time. It turns out that working on my truck and motorcycle is just a hobby for me and I am actually a high school chemistry teacher. As the channel grew I began incorporating Chemistry Lessons and Gettin Junk Done took on a new meaning. Currently "Gettin Junk Down" refers to any project I find myself wrapped up in, including my everyday work as a chemistry teacher. My teaching style is a casual, everyday approach to the material that lends to the struggling student, as is hopefully obvious in my video. Hopefully Gettin Junk Done will continue to grow and gain more subscribers and viewers. You want to lift a two-ton vehicle with something made out of Chinese scrap steel?

Minimum height says 5 inches, but can you measure the exact minimum height? I have a cart bottom edge that is right at 5 1/4 and need to add thin wood block for protection.

Between this and a standard hydraulic jack what would you say would be better, as far as safety, uses, mobility, etc.? Ive been wanting to get a new jack to replace my bulkier hydraulic one and my scissor jack but idk if I wanna get a farm jack/hi lift jack or a harbor freight rapid pump floor jack
You don't need 150 pounds to make it work. Put your foot on the 'claw' with pressure and throw the lever. It will stay in place (emulating lift/lowering a vehicle or adding/reducing stress). Reduce the pressure on your foot and it will CRASH to the floor.
I'm with you, work-wise this weekend warrior can't tell the diff between this and the Hi-Lift.
One thing I did notice is the width of the slots on the black piece. On mine, I could fit a 1/2 inch bolt straight away through that top hole you pointed out. I needed to take a file to it so that I could attach a 1/2 inch shackle to it. I'M NOT TELLING YOU TO REMOVE MATERIAL. I'M TELLING YOU WHAT I DID.
