I know how to do it with Farmers
-
all the unlikes, are militant vegans. Who are statistically going to eat meat again before they die.
-
I would love to see the farm grow more cover crops in succession, buckwheat, clover, oats, rye etc. .. Add permaculture to the animal polyculture.
-
happy meal happy animal, totally agree.

Great job there! It's in my plans to have such a set-up in couple of years time in Ghana.
So Joel said there were 1200 fowls but are there really an equivalent number of nest boxes for all the hens? or they will take turs to lay their eggs? -
It's amazing how we can over complicate things. When it's so simple to do it the right way. Way to go Poly Face Farm, keep up the good work.

03:30 - "...but there's happiness here, all the way to the plate."
I can't wait for a chance to use this quote! -
There's a 'redneck' joke in this one and it's the rabbits...
..."You might be a redneck if you have a rabbit lawnmower like Joel." -
Love learning about this stuff.
-
These are fantastic. Giving me some great ideas to "spread the news " in Australia.
-
do you have names for the chickens? : )
-
You can tell just by listening to him talk that he's a giant nerd.
-
So grateful for Polyface farms.. for showing us how is should be done... thank you
-
This is smart farming with a future! Congratulations and more thanks than you can imagine for the future approach to my own farm.
-
When the music starts, I can't hear the speaker. Is anyone else having this problem?
-
Thanks for another great video, I should listen to these more often.

I guess the cannibalism in chickens is partly because they are omnivores? Also the horrible conditions creating incredible stress which causes greatly increased aggression :( Lack of nutrients from insects etc and incredible stress... is terrible :( These chickens are very happy. :)

It's very frustrating to see vids like this and learn about alternatives then be told NO by our governments with threat of losing home, jobs, even going to jail... I have alot of respect for this man and other farmers that are doing what they know to be healthier for people and animals, rather than give in to the bullying from big businesses and policy makers that care more about money then everyone's health.

Autism is a real problem. There have been many links to autism and vaccines, among other things in food etc. So when something is found to be poisonous and harful it should be pulled, including food practices and products, especially when there are healthier alternatives. People should not be legally blocked from doing things in healthy ways, like some farmers are being stopping from healthier practices and offering healthier food choices.
