-
This is great! I have so many people try to explain the process to me, but until you see it in video with a good explanation, it really is hard to absorb. Great job!
-
the stems are so thin and wont fly in india. using these machines also is uneconomical here. the yield in india is like 100 tonne /acre. is it better here? swampy area of lousiana should be great for cane cultivation.
-
That cane should not have been harvested in October this year cane is suppose to grow for two years
-
I see a lot of this i live in Louisiana the part were I live they mostly plant by hand but I see a few of these automatic cane planters right now they finishing cutting the cane that cutter they are using is an old one they burn the top off the new ones cut the cane into small pieces and cut the top off and load it into a tractor when the tractor is full the cane gets dumped into a cane truck and they go to the sugar mill
-
How many times do the tractors drive on that field ? :-/ Why don't they combine tools so you can do the work in fewers passages (trips). I guess the workers are very cheap ? :-)
-
I would like harvesters with operation like this.
"two row whole stalk cane harvester" Ask for advice please -
with these machines, doing an acre is just a matter of a few hours =]

Localmotion, the JD's are 4-wheel drive and these front wheels are to provide the height & clearance...(according to the Farmer)...

That was a great video, I loved every bit of it. I live in NYC but my heart is right there with you guys. That is why I watch these kinds of video's. One day I'm moving out.
