I was wondering if you are using cover crops ever on your fields. If you leave residual matter on top if you roll them down. What time you plant your corn and soy beans. Also, If you have ever heard of the method where you plant soy beans in between your corn rows at the same time. If you are chopping all of your commodities it shouldn't matter when you harvest it you could just use a forage harvester to get it all.

We have the same planter but without the row cleaners. We put the covers on the fertilizer to keep out the soil that flys off the marker when it goes up. We drive 5.5 mph and plant 33,000 seeds/acre. Also The fertilizer at the front for us goes in a 2x2 band beside the seed. Meaning it is 2"beside the seed and 2"lower than seed

Great videos. Only thing i could say is be more detailed if you are explaining "how farms work." Like your corn depth "idk an inch or 2." An inch is bad since the nodal roots will break out of the soil, meaning yield lose. Or when u started to talk about wide row soybeans, yes u are getting the fungi because or wide rows, but what is it about wide rows. Its the airflow thru the beans allows moisture to evaporate bringing down the chance of fungi.
