In your recent webinar, you talked about a watering basin or tree well. When planting a bare root tree, when do you set up the watering basin?

What if my soil is not as nice as yours? My soil is more clay-like, hard and compact. Do I replace it with a good compost and soil mix? Also, what about staking the tree for wind?

Might be easier digging if you used a spade instead of a shovel. One is for digging, the other is for material transfer.
Make sure to watch your graft union depth. -
Is that a chlorine filter on your tap on the house? If so, how long before you need to replace it?
