Dairy Farming in Saskatchewan, Canada. It is a busy time of year spreading manure, spraying weeds, preparing the land, and seeding our crops. We only own some of this equipment and hire custom operators to do some of the work. This year we planted about 1700 acres which includes barley, canola, and corn. We also have 1200 acres of alfalfa. you've planted almost 1200 hectares, that amount for one farm does not even exist here in the Netherlands. We own one of the bigger farms in the north of the Netherlands and own about 600 hectares.
