Hello sir, Thanks for your advice for pig farm which we have started with 40 piglets. will buy more piglets to start with and get more experience. My advice to anyone who wants to start it would be to start with small piglets. have a budget of around 10-12 lacs ( Building, electricity connection, water, Vehicle, feed and labour costs for the next 1 year at least). Construct with future expansion in view. Hope as Mr Gaurav said that if there is a big slaughter house in North India which will increase the demand for export but still talking to people in Punjab there is shortage in supply for domestic consumption. Best of luck anyone who wants to start.

Hi, my name is Narender Singh and i m from Haryana. Recently i open my pig farm but the feed is very costly which i buy from the market. so i also want to make my own feed on my farm like u. Soybean meal and corn are easily available in india but the mineral mixture is not available. if available that has no good quality. so please recommend me what i can use in the place of that mixture. and give me the ratio of the mixtures which i have to mix like Soybean meal, corn, wheat, salt, Rice bran, Broken rice and minerlas etc.
and i also what to know the amount of feed which you give to your pig every day according to their age and how many times in a day you give this feed to your pigs. And can i also give hydroponic grass of wheat, Maize and Soybean. because from 1kg of wheat we can get 8kg of Green grass and thrie roots also.
please replay me as soon as possible.............
Thanks, -
That was very well explained..keep it going guys..cheers!!!

good job, Indian agriculturists need to diversify and meat production and export is a great field. Pork is the most consumed meat globally, more than beef and mutton, India should bank on it.

its very nice to see you guys promoting this business of pig farming. and yeah of course there is huge amount of gap in the demand and supply so people should never be concerned about the market. by the way great work . and nice video. hope you guys are looking for some high goals. i think pig farmers in uttar pradesh should join hands and make a union so that they can force government to set up mandis and large scale slaughterhouses that will actually help each pig farmer and the cost of livestock will rise. by the way my name is gaurav and i am bit associated with this thing and i would like to know your views for promoting this business of pig farming. my number is 09540320780. either drop your number so that we can have a conversation .
