For more information on coming to Kansas to tour our 5th Generation Family farm, visit: http://www.petersonfarmbros.com! To become a fan: http://www.facebook.com/petersonfarmbros About us: The Peterson Farm Bros are made up of Greg (23), Nathan (20), Kendal (17), and honorary "bro" Laura (13) Peterson. We are siblings who farm together with our parents near Assaria, KS. Our farm primarily backgrounds beef cattle, but grows wheat, corn, alfalfa, milo, and soybeans as well. It has always been our goal to promote what we do on the farm with whomever we meet. We also produce entertaining and educational videos on our YouTube channel: ThePetersonFarmBros. In June of 2012, we decided to create a parody music video about farming. It was entitled "I'm Farming and I Grow It," and was a parody of the song "I'm Sexy and I Know It" by LMFAO. The song was a viral hit on YouTube and received over 6 million views in over 200 countries in just over 2 weeks. It took our agriculture-focused message and spread it all over the world! Since then we have used this platform to create many more videos about our farm and have traveled to over 30 states and 3 countries to perform and speak on what makes agriculture important. As we have experienced this crazy journey, we have continued to realize a need to inform people about what we do in farming and in agriculture as a whole. There are many misconceptions about modern day farmers and we feel it is our calling to help change some of those misconceptions. In 2014, we began blogging about misunderstood topics in agriculture and began to open up our farm for tours. Through all of this we hope to educate the general public on where their food comes from and what a real Midwest family farm looks like! Song: "Life of a Farmer" by Greg Peterson

When I was a teen I wanted to be a farmer. When I realized that farmers get paid little for all the hard work I decided against it. Now I'm in my 60's and so glad to see youngun's enjoying that great life and staying with it! Wish I had even started! Love ALL your videos!

I wish I could go but being a small farmer in Illinois is a lot of work and going all the way down to kanas would not work for all the animals thanks

Two of my grandsons, Jack and Leo, and I attended the farm tour. We all enjoyed it very much. My grandsons already want to go back. The family was very kind and welcoming. It was a success. The boys said they had the most fun when they got to run on the hay bales with the brothers and listen to them sing. By the way, their bright orange shoes came clean!

If I attended one of your tours, I'd likely never leave and you'd have a new farmhand. LOL! Your place is a LOT bigger than my 80+ acre spread was in Upstate NY, but you always bring back great memories!

It saddens me that, our children today, & even most adults, have no idea where their food comes from, before arriving at the market. Or,how changes in our economy effects & impacts our farmers, & how agriculture is the key to our survival. It also infuriates me, to hear ANYONE utter the phrase, "Just a dumb ole farmer." I want to Thank you & your family, for all that you do & for taking on the added responsibility in educating others. Please, keep up the great work!!!!!

This is an awesome way of showing them city folks the farming way and where their food comes from. Keep up the great work.
