Paul Vantomme, FAO's spokesman and coordinator for edible insect programs was the keynote speaker of the 2nd SKYFOOD Convention about edible insects in Switzerland, held 3rd of september in Wädenswil, near Zurich. I've got several acres of mixed woods and fields in central Vemont, a small barn and a stone basement. Biomass galore but I can't settle on a species. I have been thinking earthworms or ants but maybe a beetle that eats wood? Got any ideas?
