The question how is it possible that you could quit a jobs and buy farm you like ? Overage couple can not do that. Me and my boyfriend barely making to pay our bills and we live the cheapest simple life. But we always want to grow our own food and have goats. SO, I think you just had a big savings or sold your house to buy a farm land.
