I was last in the Kitchener Waterloo area about ten years ago. Even then, I heard that Old Order Mennonites and Amish are moving away. Not most of them, of course, but a lot. Mostly to get away from all the tourists and maybe for cheaper taxes. Most of the farms left behind are either kept in the family or sold to other Mennonites, although several dozen have been bought by Polish farmers.
