Unpredictable weather patterns affect the work of many farmers across the country, largely because they are subsistence farmers who operate on a small scale. But even when you operate small, it’s possible to grow crops throughout the year by irrigation. Joel Cherop is a young model farmer in Kapchorwa district who is engaged in irrigation.
